Pre-College Programs are weeklong, overnight summer programs that introduce high school students to college-level study, university life, and career options in an enriching learning environment. Each program offers immersion in a subject of interest, pairs participants with expert faculty and industry professionals, and exemplifies the high-quality arts and sciences approach of UNC Asheville. Program Sessions include:
Arts: Ceramics; Creative Writing (Great Smokies Young Writers Workshop); Music Composition & Songwriting
Sciences: Climate, Robotics, Rocketry & Aerospace Engineering; Geology & Adventure; Meteorology; Pre-Med; River Ecology & Adventure; Video Game Design; Wildlife Wonders: Appalachian Zoology.
